Job Purpose: The Operations Head is responsible for independently handling event projects, ensuring smooth execution, and managing all aspects of event operations from planning , negotations to implementation. The role involves overseeing team members, managing vendors, budgeting, and maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction. The main objective is to ensure that every event follows all processes and delivers a high level of quality, whether or not he / himself is present. Key Accountabilities: Event Management: ·  Independently handle event projects with end-to-end event planning and execution. ·  Ensure that all processes are followed to deliver high-quality events consistently. ·  Coordinate with suppliers, handle client queries, and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure smooth operations. ·  Oversee the on-ground production and execution of the client brief as per deliverables. ·  On-site drive and setup, and be responsible for seamless event execution, including show running and technical rehearsals. . Work in Sync with the client servicing team from pre to post event . · Scout for & secure venues, conduct recces, plan costings, handle setups from fabrication and technicals to guest relations and event flow. . Plan & Manage complex logistics and challenges as they arrive . Event Operations: ·       Oversee the entire gamut of Event Operations, including estimate preparation, vendor selection, and negotiations. ·       Develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. ·       Develop policies for handling and analyzing third-party costs & submissions to reduce overheads ·        Spearhead budgets  for all events across the organization and be responsible for  maintaining all event PnLs. ·       Possess technical knowledge of Sound, Light, AV vendors, and handle these aspects. ·       Manage vendor payments reconciliation and account management of vendors, including advances and bills in sync with finance team. ·       Handle manpower management, including labor, volunteers, and student/college tie-ups. Planning and Supervision: ·       Create and manage budgets, oversee creative output, and ensure quality control. ·       Assign roles and responsibilities to team members, create action plans, provide updates, manage risks, and solve problems. ·       Conduct initial recces with clients for major events and oversee post-event closures and vendor management. Team Leadership: ·       Lead and manage a team of 6 - 8 members and drive quality event operations effectively. ·       Focus on managing, delegating, retaining and growing the teams  ·       Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members. ·       Ability to motivate and guide team members.   JOB REQUIREMENTS Experience Required: ·       8+ years in the relevant domain of Corporate events. ·       Industry Type: Event Management Company. Qualification: ·       UG/Graduate/PG/MBA. ·       MBA in Project Management (preferred). Essential Skills Required: ·       Thorough knowledge of event technicals such as sound, light, AV, staging, Branding , Artists etc. ·       Ability to manage several tasks and functions simultaneously. ·       Excellent knowledge of production and a good network of vendors & Venues ·       Ability to work efficiently and professionally in stressful situations. ·       Strong leadership skills, self-directed, and able to multitask. Technical Skills: ·       Proficiency in using apps and MS Office tools for task management and communication. ·       Communication skills. ·       Ability to troubleshoot on-ground events, either personally or through delegation.
