Responsibilities: Ecommerce Platform Management Oversee the day-to-day operations of ecommerce platforms to ensure an optimized shopping experience. Manage product listings, inventory, pricing, and promotions across online portals. Monitor and analyze platform performance, resolving technical and operational issues promptly. Vendor & Brand Management Collaborate with existing vendors to maintain strong partnerships and secure best terms. Identify and onboard new brands to expand product categories and enhance offerings. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and other terms with suppliers to achieve business goals. Sales Growth & Business Development Develop strategies to drive top-line revenue growth and improve bottom-line profitability. Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Plan and execute sales deals, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives to boost visibility and sales. Cost & Profit Analysis Perform cost-profit analysis to assess the financial performance of various categories. Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase profit margins while ensuring competitive pricing. Inventory & Order Management Oversee inventory levels to ensure availability while minimizing overstock. Manage order processing, fulfillment, and returns to ensure seamless customer service. Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonality. Pricing Strategy Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share. Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to adjust pricing strategies dynamically. Strategic Planning & Communication Create and implement business plans for the assigned category, including budgeting and forecasting. Regularly communicate business updates, sales performance, and challenges to stakeholders. Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and customer service teams to align operations. Market & Product Development Research market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to refine product offerings. Support the development of new product categories to ensure unique market positioning. Identify emerging trends and incorporate them into the product strategy. Skills Required: Bachelors or Masters Degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in ecommerce management or retail operations. Experience of handling Amazon, Flipkart, Big basket and other Q-Commerce platforms. Proven track record in managing online sales, vendor negotiations, and category development Relevant experience in FMCG, Consulting or Retail/Groceries sector, ideally with exposure to external stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, willing to test and solve problems based on data. Great interpersonal skills.
