Locations: Kolkata & New Delhi Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Support Specialist with experience in Operating Theatre (OT) procedures and robotic-assisted surgery . The role involves providing technical and clinical support to surgical teams, ensuring the effective use of robotic surgical systems, and contributing to enhanced patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Provide intraoperative clinical support and troubleshooting assistance during robotic surgical procedures. Assist in pre-operative setup and post-operative breakdown of robotic surgical systems and associated equipment. Train and educate surgeons, nurses, and OT staff on the use and best practices of robotic-assisted surgical technologies. Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure compliance with protocols, safety standards, and best practices in robotic surgery. Support product demonstrations, trials, and evaluations of robotic systems and surgical instruments. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and advancements in robotic surgery. Serve as a technical liaison between healthcare providers and the organization, addressing clinical inquiries and system performance concerns. Work closely with sales, service, and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and enhance product performance. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of surgical cases, troubleshooting issues, and training sessions. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Surgical Technology , or a related field (preferred). 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an Operating Theatre (OT) environment with exposure to robotic-assisted surgery . Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and medical equipment handling . Experience in training and educating medical professionals. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills . Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced surgical environment . Willingness to travel for onsite support, training, and product demonstrations . Familiarity with regulatory standards and hospital compliance protocols . Preferred Certifications (if applicable): Certification in Surgical Technology, Clinical Support, or Biomedical Engineering . Training or certification in robotic-assisted surgical systems (e.g., da Vinci Surgical System, Mako, ROSA, or other platforms). Why SS Innovations?
