The ideal candidate will have 8 to 12 years of experience in designing and analyzing structural systems for high-rise residential buildings. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to complex and innovative projects while advancing your career in structural engineering.Job location: Thane.Key Responsibilities:Design & Analysis:Lead the structural design process for high-rise residential buildings, ensuring the safety, stability, and functionality of the structures. Perform detailed structural analysis for various materials including concrete, steel, and composites.Project Management:Oversee and manage multiple projects from conceptual design through to construction, coordinating with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless execution.Code Compliance & Standards:Ensure all designs meet local, national, and international building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., AISC, ACI, Eurocodes). Perform seismic and wind load analyses and ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability standards.Collaboration & Coordination:Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate structural designs.Construction Support:Provide technical support during the construction phase, including review of shop drawings, resolving technical issues, and ensuring the structural design is being followed correctly.Quality Control:Perform quality assurance on structural design deliverables, including calculations, drawings, and reports. Conduct regular peer reviews and ensure accuracy and consistency across all deliverables.Required Qualifications & Skills:Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.Professional Engineer (PE) license or Chartered Engineer status (preferred).Experience:8 to 12 years of experience in structural design, specifically for high-rise residential buildings. Strong understanding of building systems, material properties, and construction methods.Technical Skills:Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, and STAAD Pro. Experience with BIM and advanced structural modeling techniques is an advantage.Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of international design codes and standards (e.g., AISC, ACI, BS, Eurocodes) and local building codes. Experience with structural design for earthquake and wind-resistant buildings.Soft Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with multi-disciplinary teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
