Job SummaryThe Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst is responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s receivables to ensure accurate and timely collection of payments. This role involves analyzing outstanding balances, resolving payment discrepancies, coordinating with customers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The AR Analyst will play a key role in optimizing cash flow and reducing overdue accounts.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.Investigate and resolve customer payment discrepancies, disputes, and short payments.Conduct credit risk assessments for new and existing customers and recommend credit limits.Reconcile customer accounts and process adjustments as necessary.Communicate with customers regarding overdue payments and negotiate payment plans when necessary.Generate and distribute aging reports, collection status updates, and other financial reports to management.Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address billing and invoicing issues.Maintain accurate and updated customer records, payment histories, and credit limits.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal financial policies.Assist in month-end and year-end financial close processes.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in AR operations.Qualifications & Skills:Master degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or related finance roles, preferably in the medical devices or manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong communication and negotiation abilities for effective customer interactions.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial transactions.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
