At DigitalPaani, we're tackling water pollution and scarcity by unlocking wastewater's potential to meet our water needs and ensuring that water infrastructure actually works. Today, 75% of the wastewater treatment facilities (STPs/ ETPs) in factories and buildings don’t work properly because the expertise to handle such complex operations doesn’t exist at the ground level. Our IoT-enabled software platform drives operational excellence in these facilities, transforming them from noncompliant assets to water factories. We've been awarded by the World Economic Forum and Niti Aayog, backed by leading international investors, and are serving 50+ facilities with customers like Tata Power, Taj Hotels, Britannia and more. We’re looking for a Process and Proposals Manager to join our growing team from Stanford and IIT-Delhi to solve meaningful problems at scale.About the roleAs the Process and Proposals Manager, you will be responsible for the following:Taking lead on complex proposals and solution design as part of sales. This includes engaging with the business development and sales teams as well as end clients to produce DigitalPaani proposals in alignment with client requirements. Note that this will involve travelling to industrial customers for several days/ weeks at a timeCompleting design assessments, retrofit assessments, equipment analysis, and designing operation philosophy documents for facilities coming on board to DigitalPaani. Initiating process research for onboarding new technologies and defining their exact workflowsEngaging with the product team to embed domain expertise such as design criteria into the softwareDriving process modelling and simulations for results in our facilitiesEnsuring proper process documentation such as of automation logic modification and more post salesAbout youThe person we’re looking for has:Minimum of 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment design, operation, and optimization.Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental or Civil Engineering, or related field.Solid knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including biological treatment, chemical treatment, and sludge handling.Experience with process modeling and simulation softwares/tools.Knowledge of other water treatment systems or water management assets like cooling towers, RO systems and WTPs is a bonusWillingness to travel in industrial areas for multiple weeks in a go Comfort with a dynamic environment and creating new processes on the fly Excellent communication skillsThis role is good for you if: You want to be in an innovative, dynamic position within the water spaceYou enjoy talking to customers and figuring out the right solutions for their problems You like to go between being in the field and being in office
