Job Responsibilities:Provide support to MES Software (IBM SiView would be a plus) and other shop floor applicationThe MES Developer is responsible for the application development for MES software as well as execution of application version change and testing. The role will partner with FAB Quality team and Operations team to analyze and verify operational needs, and to understand business objectives and goalsCollaborate closely with fab organization, operation users and partners to implement and develop robust CIM solutions through quality coding and testingWorking closely with the manufacturing (MFG) and Quality teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processesParticipate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance production efficiency and qualityOperational support responsibilityWork cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and various other support groups to determine design, modelling, and script requirementsProvide consistent support to operations by application deployment and training setupEnsure high uptime and reliability of CIM related SystemsImplement adhoc requests to alleviate operational pain pointsCreating documentation, including writing protocols and reports, and other documents such as trace matrices, test cases, and validation protocols and reportsInterface with cross-functional teams and manufacturing personnel to ensure smooth implementation of changesAuthor work instruction and process documentation describing the setup and maintenance of MES processesDesign and implement a data management strategy for integration of MES solutions with existing ERP and manufacturing related databasesPerform troubleshooting of CIM issues and resolving them in a timely manner, focusing on both hardware and software causes.Participate in shift pass-down meetings and provide detailed reports or feedback on issues to the production and engineering teamEssential AttributesStrong programming skills in C, C#, C++, Java, SQL development workKeen interest to work in clean room environment, Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) projects and conduct quality checksStrong sense of urgency in CIM operation support and executionPractical problem-solving abilities during production-critical situations, while remaining composed under pressure, especially during system failures or production issuesProficiency in troubleshooting and debugging CIM systemsAdopt a proactive approach to identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutionsExcellent teamwork skills to work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and IT teamsEnthusiasm to learn new technologies, tools, and systems related to semiconductor domain and CIM implementationAdapt to dynamic manufacturing environments and evolving needsStrong time-management ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritiesEducational QualificationBE in Mechanical /Automation /Robotics or Electrical Engineering and Computer ScienceDesired Experience LevelExperience in semiconductor foundry environment and/ or DevOps tool is a plus
