Job Title: Business Development Representative (Oil & Gas Industry) Location: Remote, India Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Founding MemberJob Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to drive sales and expand our footprint in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting our products/services to clients in upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Sales:Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competition, and industry trends.Present and promote company products/services to potential clients.Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop sales strategies.Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.Account Management:Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.Provide technical and business support to clients regarding products and services.Monitor client accounts, ensuring smooth transactions and project execution.Market Analysis & Strategy:Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ activities to refine sales strategies.Provide feedback to management on market needs and opportunities for product/service improvements.Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand awareness.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the Oil & Gas industry.Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas operations, services, and technologies.Proven ability to generate leads and close sales deals.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and sales analytics tools.Preferred Qualifications:Existing network of contacts within the Oil & Gas industry.Experience in B2B sales and technical product sales.Knowledge of energy market trends and regulations.Benefits:Competitive base salary + commission structure.Travel allowance and business expense reimbursement.Professional development and career growth opportunities.
