We don't expect individuals to be perfect, and we don't believe in unicorns - although that would be very cool.We also know that time is precious, so we better get into it, so we do not take up too much of yours.THE ROLEWe are looking for a passionate Senior Salesforce Technical Consultant to join our global team (7 offices) of rock stars and help take our organisation to the next level.You will be responsible for leading the hands-on design and development of custom solutions on the platform including significant work in Apex, Lightning components, VisualForce and integrations with other software systems. You will serve as the technical expert on - Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Communities and the platform.RESPONSIBILITIES- Direct involvement and/or oversight of developing business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration and testing. - Judges the trade-offs with technology and feasibility and makes choices that fit the constraints of the project. - Work closely with our clients in delivering the solutions and act as the primary escalation point for technical enquires related to existing and new Salesforce enhancements - Participate in day to day business as usual activities, including but not limited to bug fixes, feature analysis and data analysis. - Release and Environment Management including sandbox usage planning, metadata and data migration, environment comparisons and version control. - Work on new development initiatives, as well as bug fixes and enhancements of the existing SFDC solutions. - Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members; onshore and offshore.EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSMust Have:- 5 years of experience in a hands-on technical/development role. - 5 years of experience with Salesforce development/administration. - One or more current Salesforce advanced certifications (Platform Developer 2, Architect certification(s), Sales/Service/marketing Cloud). - Strong experience in designing, developing and implementing Salesforce applications including VisualForce and Apex, Lightning , Partner Portals and Lightning Communities. - Previous experience setting up and managing Salesforce code management and CI/CD processes with experience of relevant tools like Jenkins. - Ability to participate/demonstrate work to client via presentation or verbally to articulate developed SFDC features and can propose solutions. - Should be able to work on project and assist in functionality mapping, configuration, testing, building custom apps to and from SFDC.Nice to Have:- A background in/understanding of Object-Oriented programming - Worked as an architect/developer in multiple Salesforce projects - Experience with a major systems integrator and/or an enterprise software company - Automotive/health care Industry ExperienceYOU MAY BE INTERESTEDTechnologies we use:Salesforce- Core Clouds - Experience Cloud - MuleSoft - Marketing Cloud - Heroku - CPQ - + just about everything that hooks up to theseOther- 7 Offices - Flexible working - Paid training and certificationsIf this role sounds like you, please apply!
