Objective: The Sales Headis responsible for drivingbusiness growth, sales strategy, and revenue generation while ensuring high team productivity and operational excellence. This role involves financial planning, team leadership, and process improvementto enhance sales efficiency and market penetration. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Strategy • Develop and execute national/regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. • Identify new market opportunities, emerging technologies, and business expansion possibilities. • Build and maintain high-level relationships with hospitals, medical institutions, distributors, and government agencies. • Collaborate with product teams to ensure alignment between sales strategy and product offerings. • Drive business expansion by developing new channels and strategic partnerships. Financial Planning & Revenue Management: • Drive P&L (Profit & Loss) accountability for the sales division. • Set and monitor sales budgets, forecasts, and financial targets. • Ensure cost-effective sales strategies to maximize profitability. • Analyze sales trends, financial data, and ROI to improve decision-making. • Drive P&L (Profit & Loss) accountability for the sales division. • Set and monitor sales budgets, revenue targets, and financial performance metrics. • Optimize sales expenditures, cost-efficiency, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability. • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor benchmarks to refine pricing models. • Align financial strategy with business expansion goals and product diversification plans. Team Leadership & Development: • Lead and mentor a team of Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), Area Sales Managers (ASMs), and Sales Executives. • Define KPIs and performance benchmarks for the sales team. • Conduct training programs and leadership development workshops for the team. • Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous learning. Process Development & Sales Operations: • Establish efficient sales processes, CRM systems, and automation tools. • Streamline order management, lead tracking, and customer engagement workflows. • Improve collaboration between sales, service, marketing, and finance departments. • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, compliance, and quality control measures. Customer Relationship & Market Expansion: • Strengthen key relationships with hospital administrators, procurement managers, and healthcare professionals. • Oversee customer retention strategies and after-sales support systems. • Develop and implement strategic pricing, partnerships, and promotional campaigns. • Enhance customer experience by integrating post-sales service excellence with the sales process. • Implement CRM-driven customer retention strategies, ensuring repeat business and long-term contracts. • Monitor customer feedback loops to identify areas for service improvement and build loyalty programs. • Ensure the service and sales teams work collaboratively to provide seamless after-sales support and equipment maintenance. • Conduct customer education programs and technology demonstration sessions to strengthen relationships and brand trust. Learning and Growth Responsibilities • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance product knowledge, consultative selling, and negotiation skills. • Establish continuous learning pathways for Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) and Area Sales Managers (ASMs) through coaching, mentorship, and leadership training. • Introduce digital learning tools, webinars, and workshops to keep the sales force updated with industry trends. • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and skill development within the sales department. • Collaborate with HR to create career growth roadmaps for sales professionals, ensuring high employee engagement and retention. Work Experience 20+ years in Sales & Business Development Knowledge Healthcare Industry, Medical Device Regulations Skills Leadership, Negotiation, Communication, Sales Strategy Education Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business/Science/Engineering Location: PAN INDIA
