Role: Predevelopment – Technology development (Commercial Vehicle) (Require only Indian working outside India in tyre company) Level - Group Manager / Manager level Reports to: Divisional Head - Predevelopment Main Responsibilities / Job Summary Drive Technology roadmap projects for CV category Prepare Project input requirements based on Technology Project brief. Benchmark product performance study & analysis. Study patent landscape to identify emerging trends and conduct feasibility studies Research and develop concepts in Cavity, Pattern, Material and construction for technology development Preparation of Design FMEA Define design of experiment for simulation and prepare physical prototypes Define design validation plan and order equipment & tooling Review and discuss test results for concept evaluation and continual improvement. Technology handover and document lessons learnt with the project team Cross Functional Activities: - Participating in CFT for New Product development and Technology development. Coordination with Product development, Materials, Design & Mould Engineering, Simulation, Indoor & Outdoor testing team and educational institutes Main Purpose: To research and develop implementable concepts as per Technology Roadmap for upcoming business specific to Commercial Vehicle (CV Education: Bachelors / Master’s in Mechanical / Automobile Experience: More than 10-years of Exposure in Tyre Technology development, DFMEA, QFD, DMAIC, DOE, TRIZ, Value Engineering and Patent search / Analysis
