Cost Management: Monitor purchasing costs and actively seek opportunities for cost reduction through supplier negotiations, bulk purchasing, or alternate sourcing. Vendor Compliance: Ensure that suppliers comply with all company standards, including product specifications, quality standards, and sustainability practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Materials Science, or related field. A certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS) is a plus. Proven experience (5+ years) as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role in the manufacturing or recycling industry, particularly with a focus on polymers and recycled materials. In-depth knowledge of the recycling industry, including rPET, rPP, and rHDPE materials, and their applications in manufacturing and packaging. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on cost optimization and process improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
