Job Summary: The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets, driving room and banquet sales, developing corporate and travel trade relationships, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. This role requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), wedding, and travel trade segments. Conduct regular client meetings, hotel site inspections, and presentations to promote the hotel’s services and facilities. Maintain and grow existing accounts through strong relationship management and regular follow-ups. Coordinate with internal departments (banquets, front office, reservations, etc.) to ensure seamless guest experience. Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and reports as required. Participate in sales events, trade shows, and roadshows to promote the hotel. Track competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality-related sales roles. Strong network of corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners (preferred). Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Good knowledge of MS Office and hotel CRM systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, or similar). Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
