About the role: As a Senior ServiceNow Developer working in the IT team you will develop smart and innovative solutions in ServiceNow as well as mentoring other team members. Working with colleagues across Zellis to understand requirements, create designs and then configure and develop solutions. You provide support for the platform and investigate and resolve technical issues as they arise. You are there to guide and direct others when required as a technical subject matter expert. Roles and Responsibilities: Assess the viability of new requests and provide proposals and solutions to the business that meet business requirements, align with IT strategy and maximise reuse opportunities. Create and update Technical Documents when necessary. Contribute to and help develop the IT strategic architecture and business use of collaboration tools and their integration with other IT technologies. Identify opportunities to improve the application / streamline development activities wherever required and promote / drive innovation in technologies, processes, and tools Support the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders in order to develop and influence solution direction as appropriate. Resolve complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required. Prioritize and manage many open support Incidents and Change tickets at one time Support the roll-out of new applications. Test and evaluate new technology and applications. Work with business leads to generate dashboards, performance analytics data collectors and reports as needed. Support and mentor staff to maximise the output of the team Take control of weekly deployments and management of support documentation Desired Skillset: 6+ y ears of hands-on programming experience, with extensive work on ServiceNow modules Experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular JS and good web design practices Implementation experience on any of the following applications like GRC, ITSM, CSM, ATF, CMDB, ITOM. ServiceNow certifications – System administrator and CADITIL foundations certification a plus Technically minded with an excellent understanding of mainstream computing, networking platforms and operations and virtualisation principles. Experience in designing and implementing solutions within ServiceNow is required. Good knowledge of the core concepts of ServiceNow to include its OOTB functions and customisation capabilities. Able to work under pressure and demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and a rapid learning capability. Great people skills to help support the staff in the team
