We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented BRCGS Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits of food safety management systems in accordance with BRCGS standards. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of food safety principles, risk management, and the ability to assess compliance effectively. Your main responsibilities will include: Perform comprehensive audits of food safety management systems (FSMS) in accordance with BRCGS standards. Assess documentation, including food safety policies, procedures, and records, to ensure compliance with BRCGS requirements. Analyze the effectiveness of the FSMS, including hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), to identify potential risks. Detect areas of non-compliance or weaknesses in the FSMS and provide recommendations for corrective actions. If applicable, oversee the collection of samples for testing to verify compliance with safety standards. Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, observations, and recommendations for improvements. Key Responsibilities include: Develop and implement audit plans for BRCGS compliance. Conduct thorough audits of food safety management systems, assessing processes, procedures, and documentation. Prepare detailed audit reports that highlight findings, non-conformities, and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate and organized records of all audit activities and compliance assessments. Collaborate with food business operators and staff to enhance understanding of BRCGS standards. Provide recommendations and support for corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance with BRCGS standards. Recommend enhancements to audit processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Engage in ongoing professional education to remain current with BRCGS standards and food safety practices. Attend relevant workshops, training sessions, and industry conferences.
