Department/Function: Quality Control - Cell Biology 3. Reporting Structure: Reports to: Quality Control 4. Role Summary: The quality control team focuses on stringent quality check of products, coming out of manufacturing function for final release and subsequent use in the patients. The Trainee QC for Cell Biology will handle cell culture, cell-based and flow cytometry assays focusing on testing of in-process and final release samples to generate quality control reports. 5. Key Responsibilities: Execution of cell-based QC assays to assure cGMP quality standards of in-process and final product as per batch or project plan. Qualification/validation of multiparametric flow cytometry, ELISA, or other cell-based assays (potency/cytotoxicity) to ensure timely delivery of QC data/reports according to regulatory standards Undergo training in new techniques as part of technology transfer. Maintaining overall operation of department (physical inventories, logs, documentation, filing, etc.) and implementing quality improvement initiatives for QC laboratory operations. Responsible for maintenance and updating batch data tracker and stability data tracker. Ensure compliance with GLP/GMP practices & safety norms, standardize operating procedures and guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the operating network to support requirement towards analytical assays to ensure product quality. 6. Primary Objectives: To perform routine QC Cell Biology activities including maintenance of cell lines, upkeeping of instruments and laboratory. To perform cell-based assays routinely in QC Cell biology for product and stability testing. 7. Qualifications: PhD/MSc/MTech in Biotechnology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences or related sciences with a minimum of 0-4 years of relevant experience in Oncology/ Immunology / Cell biology areas. 9. Working Conditions: Role Type: Full Time and Onsite Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM for the General Shift and 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM for the Post-Noon Shift (on a rotational basis). There will be two days off each week, which may not necessarily fall on a Saturday or Sunday.
