Location: Mathampatti, Coimbatore Qualification: CA Inter / Intermediate Experience: 3-5 years About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Accounts Manager – NGO Finance to oversee financial transactions, donor fund management, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure the proper utilization of grants, maintain accurate financial records, and collaborate with internal teams for smooth financial operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Management & Reporting Manage daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and reconciliations. Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare financial statements. Generate financial reports for management, donors, and auditors. Track and report grant utilization to ensure transparency in fund allocation. 2. Donor Fund Management Monitor and manage donor contributions, ensuring compliance with agreements. Prepare financial reports for donors and funding agencies. Ensure adherence to donor-specific accounting and reporting requirements. 3. Budgeting & Expense Control Prepare and manage the NGO’s budget in coordination with project teams. Track expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining program effectiveness. 4. Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and NGO funding guidelines. Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits. Maintain necessary documentation for audits and legal compliance. 5. Payroll & Vendor Management Process payroll, including salary disbursements and tax deductions. Manage vendor payments and contracts with financial service providers. 6. Coordination & Stakeholder Communication Work closely with project teams to ensure financial support for initiatives. Liaise with banks, government agencies, and funding organizations. Train NGO staff on financial best practices and policies. Requirements & Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. CA Inter / Intermediate professional with 3-5 years of experience in accounts management. Strong understanding of fund accounting, grant management, and financial reporting in NGOs. Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, or other accounting software . Excellent knowledge of NGO financial compliance and regulations . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills . Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial functions efficiently.
