Summary We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team, responsible for automating software development, deployment, and IT operations processes. Your role will involve managing infrastructure, establishing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, ensuring security and compliance, monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance application and system efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This role is an integral member of the development and delivery team whose responsibilities include: Core Responsibilities: Implement and maintain the company's continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. Collaborate with development teams to automate the build, deployment, and release processes for various software applications. Manage configuration management tools to ensure consistency and scalability across different environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment, performance, and infrastructure. Serve as a point of contact for Level 2 technical support, addressing and resolving escalated issues from Level 1 support. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing system downtime. Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify root causes of issues and implement preventive measures. Document support processes, procedures, and solutions to create a comprehensive knowledge base for future reference. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support coverage for critical incidents. Technical Skills: Extensive experience with complex systems. Proficiency in configuration management tools. Proficient in Linux shell scripting and PowerShell. Familiarity with relational databases and basic SQL. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively. Python skills are a plus. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results. Proactive attitude towards identifying and addressing potential issues. Capacity to adapt to new technologies and industry trends quickly. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of professional experience in DevOps and infrastructure management. Prior experience in providing Level 2 support and participating in on-call rotations.
