Job Summary:We are seeking a talented and creative Jewellery Designer to join our team. The idealcandidate will have a passion for jewellery design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability totranslate concepts into beautiful, wearable pieces. As a Designer, you will be responsible fordesigning and developing new jewellery collections, creating prototypes, and ensuring that alldesigns meet our brand’s standards for quality and style.Key Responsibilities: Design Creation:o Conceptualize and Develop new jewellery designs, including rings, necklaces,bracelets, earrings, and other accessories, while staying current with markettrends.o Create sketches, technical drawings, and 3D models of jewellery designs usingsoftware like Rhino, Matrix, or Adobe Illustrator.o Stay updated with current fashion trends and incorporate them into designswhile maintaining the brand’s unique aesthetic. Material Selection and Sourcing:o Choose appropriate materials, such as metals, gemstones, and othercomponents, for each design.o Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality materials that align withdesign specifications and budget constraints. Prototype Development:o Work closely with artisans and manufacturers to produce prototypes of newdesigns.o Review and refine prototypes to ensure they meet design and qualitystandards.o Make adjustments and modifications to designs based on feedback and testing. Collaboration and Communication:o Collaborate with marketing, production, and sales teams to ensure designsalign with brand strategy and market demand.o Present design concepts and collections to stakeholders and gather feedbackfor revisions.o Communicate with clients to create custom designs based on their specificrequirements and preferences. Quality Control:o Ensure all jewellery pieces meet the company’s standards for quality,craftsmanship, and durability.o Conduct inspections of finished products to guarantee they are free fromdefects and meet design specifications. Research and Development:o Continuously research market trends, new materials, and innovative designtechniques.o Experiment with new design concepts and materials to expand the brand’sofferings.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, Fashion Design, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in jewellery or accessories design. Proficiency in design software such as Rhino, Matrix, CAD, or Adobe Illustrator. Strong artistic skills with a portfolio showcasing a range of jewellery designs. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Knowledge of jewellery production techniques and materials. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively. Strong organizational and time management skills.Preferred Skills: Experience with 3D printing and other modern jewellery-making technologies. Understanding of jewellery retail markets and customer preferences. Experience working with precious metals and gemstones.Interested candidates can send their resume to careers@
