This role is fully remote and open to candidates in India. Our mission is to deliver efficient, reliable, and cost-effective logistics solutions to our clients worldwide.About the RoleThe Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in developing competitive pricing models, analyzing market trends, and ensuring profitability across logistics services. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of freight forwarding dynamics, and the ability to collaborate with global teams.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pricing strategies, carrier rate negotiations, and data-driven decision-making. This is a fully remote position, requiring coordination with sales, operations, and vendor teams across different time zones.Key ResponsibilitiesPricing Strategy: Develop and optimize pricing models for air, ocean, drayage, and LTL services to ensure competitiveness and profitability.Cost Analysis: Evaluate carrier rates, fuel surcharges, customs fees, and other operational costs to build accurate pricing proposals.Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and regional rate fluctuations to inform pricing decisions.Collaboration: Work closely with sales and operations teams to align pricing with client needs and service capabilities.Rate Negotiations: Negotiate competitive rates with carriers, trucking companies, and other vendors to reduce costs.Data Management: Utilize pricing tools and internal systems (e.g., CargoWise, Excel) to maintain rate databases and ensure accuracy.Client Proposals: Prepare customized quotes and RFQ responses, ensuring compliance with client specifications and contractual terms.Reporting: Generate pricing performance reports, margin analysis, and KPI dashboards for senior management.Compliance: Ensure adherence to contractual agreements, trade regulations, and company pricing policies.Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum 3 years of experience in pricing, cost analysis, or revenue management within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.Strong understanding of freight forwarding pricing dynamics, including air/ocean freight rates, surcharges, and Incoterms.Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and pricing software (e.g., CargoWise, Freightos).Experience with carrier rate negotiations and vendor management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) for global stakeholder collaboration.Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet tight deadlines.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of logistics management systems (e.g., Descartes, SAP TM).Familiarity with trade compliance, customs duties, and cross-border pricing challenges.Certification in data analysis, supply chain management, or related fields.Experience in multicurrency pricing and foreign exchange risk management.If you meet the requirements and are ready to take on this exciting challenge, we encourage you to apply!!!
