Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA) for a Manufacturing co at PondicherryLocation: PondicherryDepartment: Finance & AccountsReports To: CFO/Finance Head/Plant HeadJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage the financial operations, compliance, and strategic financial planning of our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have experience in costing, taxation, audits, and financial analysis within the manufacturing sector.Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Management & ReportingOversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the plant.Prepare and analyze financial statements, P&L accounts, and balance sheets.Ensure cost control and optimize manufacturing expenses.Monitor working capital, cash flow, and fund management.2. Costing & Inventory ManagementImplement and monitor costing methods (standard/marginal/absorption costing).Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM), raw material costs, and overheads.Conduct variance analysis to control production costs.3. Taxation & ComplianceEnsure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory requirements.Handle tax audits, statutory audits, and internal audits.Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.4. Internal Controls & Process ImprovementEstablish internal financial controls to prevent leakages and fraud.Improve ERP/SAP-based financial systems for efficiency.Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures.5. MIS & Decision SupportGenerate management reports (MIS) and cost-benefit analysis.Provide financial insights for capital expenditures (CapEx) and operational expenditures (OpEx).Support plant leadership in financial decision-making.6. Statutory & Legal ComplianceEnsure adherence to Companies Act, labor laws, and industry-specific regulations.Manage insurance policies and claims related to plant assets.Key Requirements:✅ Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Additional CMA (Cost Accountant) is a plus.✅ Experience: 4–10 years in manufacturing, plant accounting, or industrial finance.✅ Skills Required:Strong knowledge of costing, taxation, and audit principles.Experience with SAP, ERP, Tally, or other accounting software.Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.Strong knowledge of Excel, financial modeling, and MIS reporting.Preferred Industry Experience:✔ Manufacturing (Automobile, FMCG, Engineering, Chemicals, etc.)✔ Plant Finance & AccountingIf your experience suits our JD, Pl share your updated resume to jobs@
