President Reshef’s TED Talk and Nas Daily interview about the University have 30 million views combined.REPORTS TO: Director of BI and AnalyticsGENERAL PURPOSE:The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data across a variety of sources, creating measurable and actionable reports for internal use. When assigned, the Data Analyst will also assist in the creation and testing of data processes. This position is also responsible for building ad-hoc reports and analyses, validating and auditing internal data, as well as monitoring the quality and performance of incoming data sources and platforms. The Data Analyst will work in collaboration with the BI team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:Produce accurate, clear reports as requested by internal customersInterpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reportsDevelop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityResponsible for tracking and reporting on department initiatives and status reportsUndertake operational research to identify and recommend solutions to challenges.Work with management to prioritize business and information needsIdentification and resolution of issues presented by dataKEY COMPETENCIES:Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyA fast learner and able to adopt new data analytical processesMust have an intuitive grasp for utilizing data to drive business resultsExcellent oral and written communication skills with commitment to precision and detailPositive team player able to thrive in a highly motivated in a fast-paced environmentResponsive and able to manage their timeCustomer service mindsetQUALIFICATIONS:Must have: +2 years of experience as a data analystBachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or StatisticsKnowledge of Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office, SQL, Power BIEnglish as a Native Speaker level
