We are seeking a seasoned SCM professional with extensive experience in global procurement and logistics, ideally from the pharmaceutical industry. How You Contribute: Develop and implement a strategic global procurement and logistics framework to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations. Oversee end-to-end procurement of APIs, excipients, packaging materials, and consumables, ensuring supplier reliability, cost efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards (US FDA, EU GMP, ICH, etc.). Build and maintain a robust global supplier network, negotiating long-term contracts to secure competitive pricing, optimal lead times, and supply chain resilience. Manage international logistics, optimizing freight, warehousing and distribution strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective global shipments. Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and import/export documentation requirements to facilitate smooth cross-border movement of goods. Strengthen risk mitigation strategies, including alternate supplier development, demand-supply balancing, and proactive crisis management for supply continuity. Streamline inventory management and demand forecasting to optimize stock levels, reduce holding costs, and align with business needs. Enhance cold chain logistics and specialized transportation for temperature-sensitive and high-value shipments, ensuring product integrity. Drive continuous improvements by leveraging supply chain analytics, real-time MIS for data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, regulatory affairs, and commercial teams, to align procurement and logistics with global business objectives. What You Bring to the Team A graduate/postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related fields 18-20 Years of relevant experience. In-depth knowledge of procurement and logistics in pharmaceutical formulation manufacturing, especially in regulated markets. Expertise in using SAP. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
