This includes overseeing purchasing activities, coordinating events, and handling travel logistics for university personnel. The Admin Manager will ensure that administrative functions are carried out effectively, working in close partnership with various teams to meet the operational demands of the university. The role demands a proactive approach, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Qualification: Master’s/PG/Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Office Administration, or a related field. Required Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners. Familiarity with procurement processes, event management, and travel coordination. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing priorities. Required Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in administrative management, with a strong focus on purchasing, events, and travel arrangements (Preferably in the Education Industry). Key Responsibilities: Oversee procurement activities, including identifying vendors, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely purchase of equipment, supplies, and services for the university. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and adherence to timelines. Collaborate with various departments to understand event requirements, manage budgets, and source materials or services required for events. Manage stock levels, oversee stationary management, and ensure effective asset management, including tracking depreciation, coordinating maintenance, and facilitating necessary repairs. Ensure events align with the university’s goals and maintain high standards of execution. Coordinate travel bookings, accommodations, and itineraries for faculty, staff, and visiting dignitaries. Ensure cost-effective travel solutions while adhering to university policies other related travel logistics. Oversee day-to-day administrative operations and provide support to different departments as required. Supervise and manage the administrative team, ensuring efficient workflow and task management. Maintain accurate records of purchases, event planning documents, travel itineraries, and other administrative functions. Provide regular reports on budget utilization, purchases, event management, and travel arrangements to senior management.
