For additional information visit Position Title: Assistant Manager Operations (Product Portfolio) Type: Full time Location: Thane, Maharashtra. Position Overview : Overseeing activities and operations related to inline products, new product launches, and various marketing programs/initiatives. The Manager will assist in developing and implementing integrated launch plans by working with team members to coordinate launches in terms of timing and marketing efforts. The role will be responsible for coordinating across the supply chain, manufacturing, sales, pricing and contracts teams. The position will also analyze post launch activity and performance of inline product portfolio, including key metrics related to contract compliance, market share and volume trends. The position may participate in customer meetings and develop presentations in conjunction with the Sales department. The Product Portfolio Manager will also stay on top of industry trends and develop reporting, dashboards and analytics to communicate internally with the overall team and senior leadership. Key Responsibilities: Works closely with the Sales and Commercial teams to support Generics strategy to achieve sales objectives (market share, sales and margin) which correlates to successful product launches, increases market penetration and profitability on the new and inline product portfolio. Provides market intelligence and insight to establish strategic and tactical marketing plans. Develops programs and communication strategies to effectively communicate our unique selling proposition and differentiate our products from the competition. Establishes and maintains a network of secondary and primary research information in support of planned Generic products to develop product launch plans and strategies. Creation and production of department specific Reporting/Analytics/Dashboards. Lead continuous improvement efforts across the department. Qualifications & Skills: BA/BS degree in Science, Business, Marketing or similar (MBA preferred). Experienced professional with 2-4 years’ experience in the GENERIC pharmaceutical industry. Strong analytical skills, prior experience working with forecasts, analyzing market research to turn data into actionable insights, and a strong focus on business analytics to improve and grow the business. Excellent organizational and communication skills and an ability to work with diverse internal and external constituents. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan and execute multiple short- and long-term projects, while meeting all deadlines. Strong ability to identify/anticipate opportunities, challenges and roadblocks, while maintaining a solutions-focused approach and developing plans accordingly. Demonstrated understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and marketing principles. Familiarity with regulatory framework for pharmaceutical products is desirable. Working knowledge of competitive intelligence sources such as IQVIA, IPD Analytics, PriceRx, Analysource (among others) and company financial filings etc. for commercial assessment purposes. Proficiency in computer technology including the Microsoft suite of tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams). The ability to understand and manage very large data sets and excel spreadsheets is critical.
