Job title- Retail Operations Head The Retail Operations Head is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a retail business, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience. They oversee store performance, team management, operational processes, and overall brand standards.Key Responsibility 1. Store Operations & Efficiency Oversee daily operations of all retail stores. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure store consistency. Ensure adherence to company policies, brand guidelines, and operational standards. Monitor and optimize store layouts, inventory management, and merchandising. 2. Sales & Performance Management Drive sales growth by setting and monitoring performance targets. Analyze store sales data and implement strategies to improve revenue and profitability. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track store performance. Work with store managers to maximize conversion rates and average transaction value (ATV). Recruit, train, and mentor store managers and staff. Conduct performance evaluations and set goals for the retail team. Foster a customer-centric culture through training and engagement programs. Ensure staff adherence to brand values, service excellence, and operational procedures. 3. Customer Experience & Service Excellence Implement strategies to enhance the in-store customer experience. Monitor customer feedback and take action to improve service standards. Ensure all stores follow customer service best practices and resolve complaints effectively. 5. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination Work closely with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability. Monitor stock levels and minimize shrinkage, theft, or wastage. Coordinate replenishment processes to avoid overstocking or understocking. 6. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure all stores comply with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements. Implement loss prevention measures, including security protocols and audits. Regularly assess risks and mitigate operational challenges. 7. Technology & Systems Implementation Oversee POS (Point of Sale) systems and ensure seamless technology integration. Implement digital tools for performance tracking and customer engagement. Optimize retail tech solutions for better operational efficiency. 8. Expansion & New Store Openings Collaborate with real estate and business teams for new store locations. Oversee store setup, staffing, and operational readiness for new launches. Ensure smooth integration of new stores into the existing retail network. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in retail operations, preferably in luxury or premium brands. Proven track record in managing multiple store locations. Experience in scaling retail businesses and driving operational efficiency
