Job description The State HR Manager at Geojit Financial Services plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing all aspects of human resources within their designated state/s. They are responsible for driving recruitment efforts and ensuring smooth HR Operational, Retention, Engagement and L&D activities to support the company's strategic objectives. In essence, the incumbent shall be responsible for all people relates matrices for respective geography. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain talent. Ensure timely staffing requirements of the region and new-hire orientation / Induction. Collaborate with external recruitment agencies and job portals as needed. Business partnering with State leadership to ensure operational excellence across all aspects of the HR function. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees across entire range of employee relations and organizational matters including performance management, dispute resolution, compensation and classification, recruitment and retention. Implement HR policies, procedures, operational matters and programs aligned with company guidelines and legal requirements. Handle employee grievances at lowest TAT, and address disciplinary issues in compliance with HR policies and Labour laws. Represent management in investigating and settling grievances, by arranging and scheduling grievance hearings between supervisor and the management team. Coordinate learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Ensure that the Branch Managers, with the support and supervision of State Coordinators is adhering to statutory compliance (specifically related to labour laws). Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics related to recruitment, turnover, L&D, and other HR activities. Conduct periodic audits to assess HR processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and compliance. Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and employee engagement initiatives. Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data, and make recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
