A Quality Management Representative is a person who is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards and procedures in an organization. This includes ensuring compliance with quality standards, Safety and continuous improvement of quality processes in the Manufacturing organisation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Work closely with manufacturing team in determining best methods to accomplish desired results. 2. Develop and maintain quality check list, procedures and SOP at each machines/ stages throughout the Manufacturing facility. 3. Develop a tracking system for quality issues and implement improvements at each process. 4. Implement incoming, outgoing and In-Process inspection program of purchased materials Processed components and outgoing products. 5. Supervise and manage hourly Quality Assurance Associates and Direct reportees in day to day daily activities. 6. Coordinate with third-party audits, testing, and equipment calibration 7. Participate in CAP (Corrective Action Plan) activities to document all corrective measures taken for all complaints – internal and external. 8.Perform in-depth Root Cause Analysis of quality issues to minimize any substandard product from leaving the plant site. 9. Review , analyse and Handle customer / Internal complaints to determine the Root Cause with Action Plan for the problem reported. 10. Site visits and vendor visit for quality inspections and Report generation 11. Train and develop quality team to meet the company objective. 12. Implementation of Certifications and policies like ISO , OSHAS etc 14.Ensure all company policies, procedures, and work instructions are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner. 15. Control and maintain the company audit reports and risk assessment schedule. 16. Prepare and submit monthly/Quarterly management reports relating to company systems, compliance etc REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 1. Must be knowledgeable in Wood Manufacturing processes and physical characteristics of wood. 2. Must be knowledgeable of solid wood and veneer natural and manufacturing defects and characteristics. 3. Must be knowledgeable of finishing processes and possess the ability to establish acceptable colour ranges. 4. Must be knowledgeable of the Quality tools used to monitor the process and make improvements. 5. Must be a self-starter that can identify improvements and implement them with limited direction. 6. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with exceptional interpersonal skills. 7. Must be proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Excel and Word in a Windows environment 8. Manage time and people with right skills set and ability to handle multiple priorities.
