Responsibilities: Basketball Training: Develop and implement age-appropriate basketball training sessions for primary level students. Teach fundamental basketball skills, including dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense techniques. Skill Development: Assess individual player skills and provide personalized coaching to improve technique and overall performance. Design drills and exercises that focus on enhancing students' basketball abilities and game understanding. Team Building: Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes among players. Organize intra-school basketball matches and friendly games to provide students with competitive playing opportunities. Safety and Discipline: Ensure the safety of students during training sessions and games. Enforce discipline and adherence to basketball rules and regulations among players. Communication: Communicate effectively with students to motivate and inspire them in their basketball journey. Maintain open communication with parents regarding students' progress, upcoming events, and any concerns. Professional Development: Stay updated with current trends and best practices in basketball coaching for primary level students. Attend coaching workshops or seminars to enhance coaching skills and knowledge. Qualifications: Experience playing basketball competitively or coaching at the primary level. Knowledge of basketball rules, strategies, and coaching techniques suitable for young learners.
