Singapore International Arbitration Centre invites applications to join its Representative Office in India as: STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, SOUTH ASIA Job Responsibilities: Assist in formulating business development strategies and identifying business development opportunities in existing and potential new markets and sectors relating to SIAC India Representative Office Undertake research, evaluation, assessment and analysis of trends and developments in international arbitration Contribute to SIAC’s ‘thought leadership’ and the promotion of international arbitration by preparing academic materials for publication and course materials for training programmes in India Prepare press releases, newsletters, flyers, presentation slides, case studies and other SIAC publications and marketing materials for SIAC India Representative Office Attend to SIAC website/posts, updates and public queries Handle corporate communications related to SIAC India Representative Office with the press and media and respond to enquiries from users Assist in preparing SIAC statistical and annual reports Assist with the organisation, management and coordination of SIAC and external conferences, seminars and events in India; and where necessary, speak at selected events Provide support during events including handling registration, managing exhibit booths, and overseeing program of activities in India Assist in preparing the filings requested by the Indian regulatory authorities, including the Registrar of Companies, and other official entities Assist in coordinating with landlord, payroll agent, bank, auditor and other local service providers Undertake such other work relating to SIAC India Representative Office as may be assigned by Supervisors Qualifications and Experience: India-qualified lawyer, preferably with 2 or more years of post-qualification experience experience in international arbitration will be an advantage a team player with strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills ability to work independently, with minimal supervision to handle multiple ongoing projects Ability to travel, when required
