Senior FPGA Engineer Location: Bengaluru Job Type: Full Time Experience Level: 8+ Years Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior FPGA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in porting ASIC designs to FPGA , with a strong preference for experience using Xilinx FPGAs . The role involves FPGA design, timing closure, and working with Xilinx toolchains to optimize performance and functionality. Key Responsibilities: Port ASIC designs to FPGA while ensuring functional accuracy and performance optimization. Develop, implement, and verify FPGA designs using Xilinx FPGAs and toolchains. Achieve timing closure and optimize FPGA implementations for power and area. Utilize industry-standard tools, including Xilinx Vivado, ISE, and Synplify (a plus). Collaborate with ASIC and software teams to ensure seamless design integration. Perform functional validation and debugging of FPGA-based designs in lab environments. Optimize FPGA architectures for efficiency and scalability. Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in FPGA design and implementation . Strong background in ASIC-to-FPGA porting and understanding of ASIC design methodologies . Expertise in Xilinx FPGA architectures, toolchains (Vivado, ISE), and implementation flows . Solid experience in timing closure, constraint management, and FPGA optimization . Hands-on experience with Synplify (preferred but not mandatory). Strong proficiency in VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog for FPGA design and verification. Experience with FPGA debugging tools (e.g., Chipscope, SignalTap) and hardware validation. Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in hardware/software co-design and integration . Exposure to RTL simulation, verification methodologies, and FPGA prototyping . Knowledge of Linux-based development environments and scripting (Python, TCL, Shell, etc.) . Why Join Us?
