Job role Overview As a chess coach at Upstep Academy, you’ll have the opportunity to train and inspire students of various skill levels, helping them develop their abilities and passion for the game. Through dynamic and interactive lessons, you’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of chess enthusiasts, all while enjoying the support of a proven training ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Provide quality online chess training, conducting both interactive group and private lessons to help students learn and improve their skills. Inspire and motivate students to play chess and develop their abilities Establish goals and training plans for chess preparation and competitions, monitoring progress to ensure students stay on track. Ensure regular reporting and conduct necessary research to offer appropriate and continuous guidance Leverage Upstep Academy’s proven ecosystem to enrich the student experience and support their development. Qualification Seeking enthusiastic, dynamic individuals who are passionate about working primarily with children and eager to learn and grow. Strong command of English with excellent communication skills. Must have access to a reliable laptop and a stable, high-speed internet connection. Preferred 1 to 5 years of chess coaching experience, but highly motivated freshers are also welcome to apply. Availability to work six days a week.
