Job Overview: The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the ship’s kitchen areas, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly washed, sanitized, and stored. This role involves working with cleaning equipment, handling chemicals, and following strict hygiene and safety standards.Key Responsibilities: Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring all kitchen machinery is properly cleaned. Follow opening and closing procedures for kitchen and food preparation areas. Handle and dispose of food waste and chemicals safely. Sort and manage garbage and recyclables as per guidelines.Requirements & Qualifications: Prior experience in physically demanding jobs is preferred. Fluent English. Minimum two years of experience in the same position. Minimum 4 and 5 star hotel experience. India based applicants only. Comfortable working long hours in a humid and fast-paced environment. Ability to lift and move heavy kitchen equipment.
