Position Overview:This person is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of testing on Salesforce projects, including designing test strategies, creating comprehensive test plans, managing a team of testers, executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring the quality of Salesforce implementations across complex projects while adhering to best practices and industry standards.Responsibilities•Lead the testing efforts for Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and integrations.•Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Salesforce applications.•Design and implement automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.•Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test objectives.•Conduct end-to-end testing of Salesforce components including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and third-party integrations.•Ensure best practices in test automation, defect tracking, and reporting processes.•Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of test engineers.•Work closely with development teams to implement continuous integration and continuous testing (CI/CT) processes.•Analyze test results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with developers.•Stay updated with Salesforce releases and incorporate relevant updates into testing strategies.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:•5+ years of experience in Salesforce testing, including functional, automation, and performance testing.•Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, APIs, and integration testing.•Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, or Tosca.•Proficiency in Salesforce testing frameworks like Apex test classes and SQL queries.•Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and test management tools.•Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.•Salesforce certification(s) such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Certified Advanced Administrator• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.•Ability to train and work one-on-one with others•Positive attitude and a desire to helpPreferred Qualifications•Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, ADOS).•Knowledge of cloud testing strategies and performance testing tools.•Prior experience in leading test teams in Salesforce transformation projects.•Exposure to AI-driven test automation tools.Physical Requirements•Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen•Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
