Based in Gurugram, SAKU focuses on delivering the best shopping experience to its customers, blending offline and online retail seamlessly. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control - Garments (Womenswear, Menswear & Kidswear) at SAKU in Sector 37, Gurugram (6 days working). We've in-house sampling unit, in-house manufacturing capabilities and we outsource some selective articles to partner factories. The Quality Control specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of garments through effective quality control measures and processes. Effective quality assurance end-to-end (pattern / cutting / printing / embroidery / stitching / washing / finishing) Apply root-cause-analysis, 5-why technique and, Kaizen to constantly improve the processes Fabric testing (sample and bulk fabric), color fastness / transfer, rub test, durability, fabric shrinkage Base pattern and graded pattern measurement and approval Sample garment measurement testing, rectification and approval Quality control during manufacturing (inline / midline / final) Quality control during finishing and packing process Inspection planning, manage all the production process controls, work closely with merchant teams for timely approvals Use brand clothing and body size charts for measurements. Maintain the product integrity and implement Brand specific SOPs in the factory Work closely with partner garment factories to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner Provide feedback and guidance to production teams to improve quality control processes and techniques. Identify and escalate quality-related issues to management for timely resolution Collaborate with the production and design teams to develop new products and ensure quality standards are met from concept to production Travel to partner garment factories to conduct audits and ensure quality control standards are met Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management skills in Garment manufacturing Previous experience in the Indian retail garment / Export house manufacturing is mandatory Experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Should have through knowledge of Inspection Procedures like Size Set, PPM, Line walk, Initial, Midline and final Inspections, and packing Well-versed with Raw material quality and Inspection Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and quality standards. Quality Auditing expertise Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Ability to work well in a team environment Excellent organisational and time management skills
