Job Title: Bookkeeping & Accounting Assistance - UK Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years Location: Ahmedabad Job Type: Full-Time Working Hours: UK hours 8am to 5pm (1:30pm to 10: 30 IST) Position: 1 Key Responsibilities: Accurately record all financial transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and payroll into the accounting system. Maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and coding of transactions. Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances against bank statements. Process accounts payable and receivable invoices, including follow-up on outstanding payments. Prepare and analyses various financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Generate reports for management to track financial performance and identify trends. Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis. Train new team members on company accounting procedures and software. Identify and address any issues related to bookkeeping processes. Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards and regulations. Monitor for potential discrepancies and errors in financial data. Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and address any queries regarding bookkeeping activities. Provide excellent customer service to maintain positive client relationships. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.) Knowledge of UK accounting and Tax (VAT) Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills Experience with payroll processing and tax filings Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience Good Hands on Microsoft office (Excel, word, PowerPoint etc.)
