Job Description

Years of experience: 8-10 years Location: Bangalore Associate will be majorly responsible - Perform procedure validations as well as E2E service validations in VLAB environment. Reporting the issues encountered while running the procedures in VLAB environment with the concerned procedure owner to ensure the issue doesn’t recur in PROD environment Sharing the feedback of the documentation if unclear or needs to be modified First level of issue analysis encountered in the procedure by troubleshooting the underlying procedure along with the PO by understanding the basic ECS architecture, newly released features of the tools involved etc Proactive follow-up on the tickets created for the issues encountered End to end responsibility ensuring the proper closure of the issue occurred in the procedure / service before releasing to production Knowledge sharing within the team and with larger audience of the technical and process aspects Perform the roll-outs together with the roll out champion. Work Experience: Strong Operating system knowledge to support Linux, Windows environments. Experience with Suse Linux / Windows/ IBM power is required Knowledge of hypervisors/Vmware and hyper-scalers is desirable Knowledge on pacemaker is desirable Associate must have a very strong desire to keep up-to-date with technical developments in Server management area within ECS Delivery and SAP Commitment to detailed planning, documentation and quality assurance processes, especially change control, which will support the timely implementation of enhancements to the server environment whilst maintaining the highest levels of operational service High levels of self-motivation and focus to work with the minimum of supervision and deliver against agreed targets Strong customer service awareness to keep the customers’ requirements constantly in mind and ensure that activities align closely with these requirements
