Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru for an Accountant at Maxburn Private Limited. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring financial compliance: Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Assist with budgeting, tax preparation, and audits. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices. Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information Document  current and historical financial transactions by entering account information. Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options, policies and procedures. Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Record and Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information Maintain a systematic financial information database with backup. Provide technical support and advice on management Accounting and bookkeeping: verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions Corporate Compliances and Financial Data Entry Management GST and Tax Returns Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Research and Reporting Skills Mathematical accuracy Problem Analysis and Problem-Solving Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Financial Analysis, Risk assessment, budgeting and forecasting Accounting Softwares General Ledger, P&L and Balance Sheet Functions  Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
