Job description What a typical day at work would look like? As a Senior Executive - Legal, your day will involve a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the organization's legal functions. Here's what a typical day might look like: Document Review and Drafting: - Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents to ensure they comply with applicable laws and align with the organization's policies. - Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for document preparation. Legal Research: - Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents to support ongoing projects and provide informed legal advice. - Stay updated on changes in legislation that may impact the organization. Compliance Monitoring: - Assist in monitoring the organization's compliance with applicable laws and regulations. - Prepare reports on compliance status and suggest necessary actions to address any issues. Meetings and Consultations: - Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss legal aspects of ongoing projects and initiatives. - Provide legal support to various departments as needed. This role requires effective time management, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. By engaging in these activities, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the organization's legal compliance and supporting its strategic objectives. Other Supporting Functions : Preparing monthly/other reports/minutes of the meetings, arranging meetings, template creation/updation Litigation Support and any other responsibility as required Your Key Knowledge Areas shall be:- Attention to detail and strong understanding of legal provisions Excellent oral and written communication skills IT Skills - Minimum MS Office, Powerpoint and familiarity with online legal research platforms such as Manupatra, SCC Online and other such legal tools.
