This involves managing legal matters, ensuring compliance with corporate laws, maintaining statutory records.Key Responsibilities:Legal Compliance & Advisory:Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Ensure the company complies with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.Handle legal disputes, litigation, and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.Corporate Governance & Secretarial Duties:Ensure the company adheres to corporate governance best practices.Organize and manage board meetings, AGM, and committee meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and resolutions.Maintain statutory books, including the register of members, directors, and secretaries.File necessary returns and documents with regulatory authorities (e.g., ROC, SEBI, Stock Exchange, etc.).Ensure compliance with listing regulations and corporate governance norms.Advise the board of directors on their legal and fiduciary responsibilities.Contract Management & Documentation:Draft and review various agreements such as vendor agreements, NDAs, MoUs, employment contracts, and lease agreements.Maintain an organized record of all legal and compliance-related documents.Ensure timely renewal of contracts, licenses, and regulatory filings.Risk Management & Litigation:Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Handle disputes, regulatory issues, and compliance investigations.Ensure intellectual property rights (IPR) protection and compliance with data privacy laws.Benefits:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company.Collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity and innovation.
