About the Role: We are looking for a motivated Identity & Access Management (IAM) Intern to join our cybersecurity team. This internship offers hands-on experience in IAM principles, security frameworks, and access control mechanisms. You will work closely with security professionals to support identity governance, user provisioning, and authentication solutions. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing user access, authentication, and authorization processes. Support identity lifecycle management , including provisioning and deprovisioning of accounts. Work with IAM tools and technologies such as Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, Okta, or Ping Identity . Help monitor and analyze access logs, security alerts, and identity-related incidents . Assist in enforcing least privilege access and role-based access control (RBAC) . Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to IAM policies and security best practices. Collaborate with IT and security teams to troubleshoot IAM-related issues. Document IAM processes and contribute to policy development. Requirements: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field . Basic understanding of IAM concepts such as authentication, authorization, and identity governance. Familiarity with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP) and SSO technologies is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Basic scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) is an advantage.
