Job Description

Key responsibilities duties and tasks 1. Conduct Baseline Assessment: a. Perform an in-depth analysis of the enterprise's current operations. b. Map end-to-end processes across operations and identify areas for improvement. c. Develop a clear understanding of the enterprise's needs, strengths, and weaknesses related to business operations, supply chain management, and stock management. 2. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Development and Implementation: a. Collaborate with the enterprise manager to review and refine SOPs based on feedback and ensure alignment with operational goals. b. Finalize the SOPs and ensure all team members are well-informed and prepared for implementation. 3. Grassroots Sales Channel Development a. Develop and implement grassroots sales strategies for enterprises. b. Conduct training sessions on entrepreneurship, sales, communication, and digital marketing. c. Ensure the establishment and effective management of grassroots sales channels. 4. Training and Capacity Building: a. Facilitating training sessions for the enterprise's staff, board members and shareholders based on the requirements of the enterprise b. Provide continuous guidance and support to ensure smooth adoption of SOPs at all levels of the organization. 5. Procurement, go to market strategy and Stock Management: a. Support and strengthen the enterprise’s procurement processes and go to market strategy. b. Assist in the development of stock management systems to ensure smooth inventory control and management. 6. Field Engagement: a. Build a strong connection with the members/ shareholders of the enterprise and hold regular meetings and make frequent visits to the field. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Education: ● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Rural Management, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA, Rural Management) is a plus. Experience: ● 4 to 7 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a similar role, preferably in rural settings. ● Strong background in team management, supply chain, and stock management. Skills: ● Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). ● Excellent communication skills in Assamese, English, and Hindi. ● Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Other Requirements: ● In-depth understanding of rural operations and grassroots business processes. ● Strong command (written and spoken) of local language (Assamese) and fluency in both English and Hindi ● Willingness to travel within the state and to other locations as required.
