Position Description: Country Manager - India Position Purpose: The Country Manager for India is responsible for managing the India Branch to ensure key targets and objectives are met or surpassed. This role involves setting up and managing the branch structure for success, overseeing all sales activities to achieve or exceed the business plan and budgets, and providing high-level sales management of the branch's sales channels. Additionally, the Country Manager will manage the after-market support teams throughout India to ensure excellence in after-sales service, drive growth in service revenues, spare parts, machine accessories, and software sales, and ensure complete usage of the VCRM for all after-sales activities. Working Relationships: Business Unit: ANCA Machine Tools, Asia Reports to: General Manager Asia Direct Reports: (Insert positions or indicate Nil if no direct reports) Internal: General Managers (Americas, Europe & China), Group Marketing, Product Managers, Group Communication & Corporate Affairs, Engineering, AfterSales & Quality, Group Human Resources External: ANCA customers and potential customers, Suppliers, ANCA competitors (for market intelligence) Key Duties and Responsibilities: People and Office Leadership: Build, lead, and maintain a highly motivated and high-performing team across India, ensuring ANCA group values are a key focus in customer service and branch culture. Collaborate with the After Sales Manager to ensure customer satisfaction is a key objective throughout the team. Conduct performance reviews on all direct reports in accordance with HR processes. Prepare accurate and timely reports as required by the General Manager - Asia. Financial Management: Manage the India Branch P&L, ensuring branch profitability as a key KPI. Maintain the cost structure of the India Branch in line with HQ requirements. Manage branch inventory across India according to company guidelines. Sales & Business Development: Develop and implement effective sales plans and budgets for the India Branch. Accountable for sales forecasts, planning, delivery, and necessary redirection. Drive profitability of sales throughout India. Ensure the entire team, including the Country Manager, uses the CRM as per company requirements. Collaborate closely with the Marketing team and regularly analyze market intelligence. Manage all trade shows in India, ensuring ANCA is well represented at budgeted events. Health & Safety: Maintain a healthy and safe work environment, working with managers, supervisors, and co-workers to mitigate and eliminate hazards. Conduct housekeeping, risk assessments, and work with the line manager to eliminate or mitigate hazards. Observe all Health and Safety instructions, including wearing prescribed PPE at all times. Other: Model ANCA behavior, ensuring the Vision, Mission, and Values are embedded throughout areas of control.
