This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.Roles and Responsibilities:Creative Design & Content Development (EdTech Focus)Lead the creation of visually engaging graphics for e-learning content, online courses, and digital training materials to enhance student engagement.Design educational assets, including interactive learning modules, digital textbooks, infographics, assessments, and explainer videos.Develop marketing collateral such as social media creatives, banners, and email campaigns to promote courses and EdTech products.Create course branding elements to ensure consistency across all learning materials and digital platforms.Conceptualize and execute visually compelling designs that enhance knowledge retention and learner engagement.Collaborate closely with curriculum designers, instructional designers, content developers, and marketing teams to understand design requirements and optimize learning experiences.Ensure that all graphics adhere to UI/UX best practices for e-learning platforms, making content accessible and user-friendly.Interpret and translate storyboards into engaging video content by combining motion graphics, animations, and visual storytelling techniques.Create and edit videos for e-learning modules, ensuring seamless integration of graphics, animations, and instructional elements.Team Coordination & Workflow Management:Oversee and mentor a small team of 3 to 5 graphic designers, ensuring task allocation and timely delivery of projects.Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and support to junior designers to maintain quality and efficiency.Foster a collaborative and creative work environment to enhance team productivity and innovation.Coordinate with internal teams to understand design requirements and deliver impactful visual solutions.Motion Graphics & Video Editing:Create and enhance motion graphics, video animations, and interactive visual content for educational materials.Assist in video editing, animations, and post-production using industry-standard tools.Ensure smooth integration of graphics, text animations, and multimedia elements in learning content.Quality Assurance & Brand Consistency:Maintain brand consistency across all design projects by following established style guides and visual identity standards.Review and ensure that all designs meet high-quality standards before finalizing for publication.Implement design best practices and stay updated with industry trends to continually improve visual quality.Innovation & AI Integration in Design:Utilize AI-powered design tools for image enhancement, video automation, and interactive content creation.Explore and implement new-age design trends and AI-driven workflows to streamline graphics production.Experiment with emerging technologies to enhance the learning experience through immersive visuals.Key Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree6 to 10 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years of experience managing a small team.Strong portfolio showcasing design projects across digital, print, and multimedia platforms.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).Hands-on experience in motion graphics, video editing, and animation.Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding.Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Experience in guiding and mentoring junior designers while actively contributing to hands-on design tasks.Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams.Emeritus provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.In press:
