Are you a leader in backend development, spanning system design to implementation?At Lingopal, we're looking for a highly skilled Rust developer that finds home in the backend. You'd collaborate with other skilled developers and lead the charge in keeping our backend fast and efficient.Your role would place you as the backend lead in the flagship product of Lingopal, our real-time Speech to Speech offering.Responsibilities of the Role:Report to Engineering Manager and key stakeholders on deliverables, timelines, and objectivesSystem Design: from 0 to 1 on your task. This means everything from unit tests to system design of your solution to the problem given.Code Review: in the collaboration effort of the team, you'll be expected to participate in the code review process for all PR'sCode Quality: You should be an example for other engineers to follow that can keep the codebase to its highest qualityCollaboration: You'll be in a position to lead a team here at Lingopal.Communication: You should be an effective communicator, explaining your decisions and have the ability to communicate both to technical and non technical stakeholders.Must-Have Proficiencies and Qualifications:Rust (skill to be demonstrated in a technical interview) (5+yrs recommended)Low Level Primitives5+ years of experience in System DesignMultithreadingMultiprocessinggRPCDockerKubernetesAWSAlgorithms and Algorithmic Efficiency
