Designation: Head - Projects (General Manager) Reporting to: CEO Job Purpose Project Engineering services throughout the life cycle of the Green field and brown field project in a cost effective manner, from the technical, qualitative & commercial angles, while promoting further work opportunity through successful project handover. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets. Engineering Design for new product development Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing smoothly. Provide engineering expertise and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Ideal identification of CAPEX & OPEX for the projects. Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, including plans, designs, reports, and updates. Monitor project costs, manage budgets, and report on financial status. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Ensure all project activities meet or exceed industry standards, regulations, and company quality guidelines. Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and changes in scope. Address technical issues and project challenges, providing solutions to keep the project on track. Focal Point of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Maintenance (EPCM) package for Green/Brown Field . Preparation of Project Baselines aligned with Milestone for approval, monitor and control of project schedules. Preparation of Weekly and Monthly Project Progress and Look ahead plan. Developing 2D machine layouts and superimpose the new machines for Time and Motion Study. Monitoring and Control of Procurement & Contract Plan. Develop HSSE plan and its implementation and closeout. Coordination with vendor for Factory and Site acceptance test. Traveling for Vendor visits, site visit Key Skills and Qualifications Sound knowledge in Techno-Commercial of Machines used in Mfg Industry Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related). Minimum 20-25 years of experience in project engineering or a related field. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Ms Excel), with a strong understanding of engineering principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information. Strong leadership and team collaboration skills. Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically to solve complex problems. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Material Handling Equipment Knowledge would be an advantage
