This role will be responsible for leading, planning, and executing cloud-based infrastructure projects using Microsoft Azure. This role requires coordinating with technical teams, stakeholders, and business units to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget. The Project Manager will drive cloud migration initiatives, infrastructure optimization projects, and support the continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure services.What You’ll Do:Project Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end Azure cloud projects, including infrastructure migrations, application modernization, and landing zone deployments.Coordinate project activities with stakeholders, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met according to the project plan.Manage the project scope, timeline, risks, and resources to ensure high-quality execution.Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) & App Services:Oversee the planning, deployment, and scaling of containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Manage projects that involve building and maintaining applications hosted on Azure App Services.Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to ensure the successful integration of AKS and App Services with CI/CD pipelines.Azure Infrastructure Migration:Lead large-scale infrastructure migration projects from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure.Ensure minimal disruption and downtime during migration, with a focus on optimizing workloads for performance and cost in Azure.Work closely with the technical team to validate architecture, migration strategies, and testing procedures.Landing Zone Implementation:Design and manage the deployment of Azure landing zones following best practices to ensure a scalable and secure cloud environment.Ensure compliance with governance, security, and operational best practices in the landing zone implementation.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud architectures.Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:Communicate project status, risks, and timelines effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including security, infrastructure, development, and operations teams.Risk & Issue Management:Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact the success of the project.Implement contingency plans and lead issue resolution efforts in coordination with technical teams.Resource Management:Allocate and manage project resources, ensuring team members are properly aligned with the project’s needs.Work closely with internal and external teams, including third-party vendors and partners, to ensure project success.Documentation & Compliance:Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and post-project reviews.Ensure all project work aligns with industry standards, Azure best practices, and compliance requirements. || M365 KnowledgeWhat You’ll Bring:Project Governance: Expertise in managing Azure projects with a focus on scope, timelines, and risk management.Technical Oversight: Strong understanding of AKS, App Services, and Azure infrastructure to guide technical teams.Migration Strategy: Proven experience in planning and executing seamless Azure infrastructure migrations.Stakeholder Coordination: Ability to align technical deliverables with business goals and communicate effectively.Compliance & Documentation: Ensures adherence to security, compliance, and documentation standards architecture.A sense of humor
