Job Summary: The Internal webshops QA Lead will be responsible for overseeing and safeguarding the quality of our software testing processes. This role will involve coordinating with internal QAs locating in different geographies, QA resources augmented by our vendor partner, as well as working with external partners for specialized testing (f.e. payment testing). Furthermore the QA lead ensure the integrity of test cases, improving automation testing, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in our products and setting up new quality assurance benchmark. The person should be able to review and provide right direction in technical, process, documentation with inter-domain alignment. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Oversight: Lead and manage the QA team, including internal QAs locating in different geographies, QA resources augmented by our vendor partner and external QA partners. Ensure all QA activities align with company goals and standards. Provide guidance and mentorship to QA team members. Ability to investigate on testing tools and technologies & recommend the right fit. Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop, implement, and maintain QA strategies, policies, and procedures. Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies. Define and track QA metrics to measure the quality and effectiveness of testing efforts. Test Planning and Execution: Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases. Ensure thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Coordinate testing efforts with development and product teams. Automation Testing: Improve and expand the company's automation testing framework. Identify and implement appropriate test automation tools and technologies. Mentor and train team members on best practices in test automation. Ensuring our automation is always topnotch to support a true CI/CD release strategy. Collaboration and Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the internal team and Infosys QA resources. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between QA, development, and product teams. Participate in regular meetings and provide updates on QA activities and progress. Issue Management: Oversee the identification, reporting, and resolution of software defects. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of issues and their resolutions. Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues and implement corrective actions. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team. Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance QA capabilities. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance. Very high level of ownership, proactivity and commitment. Not afraid to challenge the status-quo. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes . Extensive experience with both manual and automated testing . Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, Cucumber, or similar . Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies . Experience with true CI/CD release approach. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Certifications in QA or related areas (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE ) are a plus. Experience in eCommerce / Webshops.
