Job Description

Role- AM/Manager Key Responsibilities:- 1. Tax Advisory & Compliance: Provide expert guidance on corporate tax, international tax, and transfer pricing. Advise clients on tax-efficient structuring of transactions and business operations. Ensure compliance with Income Tax Act, TDS provisions, advance tax, and tax audits. Handle tax due diligence and impact assessments for mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring. 2. Tax Litigation & Representation: Represent clients before tax authorities, appellate tribunals, and other regulatory bodies. Assist in preparing responses for tax assessments, appeals, and dispute resolutions. Work closely with legal teams to handle complex tax litigation cases. 3. Client Engagement & Business Development: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to client proposals. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their tax needs. 4. Regulatory & Policy Updates: Stay updated with changes in tax laws, regulations, and judicial rulings. Interpret and analyze the impact of tax law amendments on clients' businesses. Provide proactive insights and thought leadership on emerging tax trends. 5. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring their growth and development. Conduct training sessions to enhance the technical expertise of team members. Ensure effective delegation and quality control in tax deliverables. Key Requirements: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. 3-8 years of experience in direct tax, international taxation, and litigation, preferably from a Big 4 or top-tier CA firm. Strong technical knowledge of Indian tax laws, corporate taxation, transfer pricing, and tax treaties. Proven experience in handling tax assessments, appeals, and representations before tax authorities. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and handle client expectations effectively. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
