Designation : Manager - Stores Experience : 15-20 years Roles and Responsibilities : As the Manager - Stores, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire stores and inventory management function within the organization. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience and strong knowledge in managing stores operations, material handling, ERP systems, and maintaining a seamless flow of materials from receipt to dispatch. Manage the Receipt of Materials : Ensure smooth receipt and documentation for materials from both local and international suppliers. Have in-depth knowledge of inward procedures, and ensure proper documentation for imports and local purchases of various materials. Manage the Issue of Materials : Ensure timely issuance of materials to in-house production and sub-contractors. Familiar with the entire sub-contracting process, including job work documentation and inventory management for subcontracted items. Kitting of Components : Coordinate and manage kitting of components required for production. Allocate appropriate resources to ensure that the kit requirement plan is met effectively and efficiently. Monthly Cycle Count : Oversee and manage the monthly cycle count for the entire inventory. Ensure proper reconciliation of physical stock with the ERP system, maintaining accuracy and minimizing discrepancies. ERP System Management : Possess sound knowledge of ERP systems related to all stores activities, including but not limited to: Goods Receipt Note (GRN) Posting materials to Incoming Quality Control (QC) Transferring accepted materials to warehouse locations Managing GRN reversals and material returns to vendors Issuing materials to in-house production based on manufacturing orders Creating and managing delivery orders Transferring materials to sub-contractor locations Transferring balance materials back to core location Material Dispatch : Oversee and manage the dispatch of finished products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Desired Skill Set : Proven experience in material management and inventory control. Sound knowledge of ERP systems, specifically related to stores activities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Excellent communication and documentation skills. In-depth understanding of the sub-contractor process and related job work documentation. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification would be an added advantage. Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in stores and inventory management, with a strong focus on ERP systems.
